मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेन्द्र सिंह रावत ने गुरूवार को नारसन से रूड़की के मध्य राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग के कार्यों एवं रूड़की बाईपास पर चल रहे निर्माण कार्यों का निरीक्षण किया। इसके उपरान्त उन्होंने कुम्भ क्षेत्र में चल रहे विभिन्न कार्यों एवं पुलों का निरीक्षण किया। निरीक्षण के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि 31 दिसम्बर 2020 तक स्थाई प्रकृति के सभी कार्य पूर्ण किये जाय। 31 जनवरी, 2021 तक कुम्भ से संबंधित सभी कार्य पूर्ण कर लिये जाए।
मुख्यमंत्री ने पुहाना-छुटमलपुर बाईपास, फ्लाईओवर ब्रिज, कोर काॅलेज के समीप से मंगलौर को जोड़ने वाले बाईपास, रानीपुल झाल में बनाये जा रहे पुल एवं लोक निर्माण विभाग द्वारा बनाये जा रहे विभिन्न पुलों एवं मेला क्षेत्र के अन्तर्गत विभिन्न निर्माण कार्यों का निरीक्षण किया।
मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेन्द्र सिंह रावत ने कहा कि आगामी कुंभ में श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा के दृष्टिगत 98 प्रतिशत कार्य दिसम्बर 2020 के अन्त तक पूर्ण हो जायेंगे। जनवरी अन्त तक सभी कार्य पूर्ण करने के निर्देश अधिकारियों को दिये। उन्होंने कहा कि पुलों, बाईपास को जोेड़ने एवं सड़क निर्माण के जो कार्य हो रहे हैं, इससे लोगों को आने वाले समय में काफी फायदा होगा। हरिद्वार में सालभर में अनेक स्नान पर्व एवं कांवड़ मेले का आयोजन होता है। इन पर्वों में भी श्रद्धालुओं को आवागमन के लिए काफी सुविधा होगी एवं स्थानीय लोगों को भी सुविधा होगी। हरिद्वार देश-विदेश के पर्यटकों एवं श्रद्धालुओं के लिए आस्था का प्रमुख केन्द्र है। हरिद्वार में श्रद्धालुओं को आवागमन में किसी भी प्रकार की परेशानी न इसके लिए लगातार प्रयास किये जा रहे हैं।
