केन्द्रीय सड़क एवं परिवहन मंत्री नितिन गडकारी ने थारू राजकीय इण्टर काॅलेज में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में कहा कि उत्तराखंड के बारे में पूरे देश में कहा जाता है कि यह देवों की भूमि है। देश-विदेश की जनता उत्तराखंड को देव भूमि और राज्य की जनता को देव तुल्य मानती है। बद्रीनाथ, केदारनाथ, गंगोत्री, यमुनोत्री यह हमारे आस्था, श्रद्धा के प्रतीक है। उन्होने कहा कि यहाॅ केवल उत्तराखंड के ही नही बल्कि पूरी दुनिया से लोग आते है। हमारी पवित्र गंगा का उद्गम स्थान भी उत्तराखंड में है और मेरा यह सौभाग्य रहा है गंगा को अविरल और निर्मल करने की जिम्मेदारी मुझे मिली और उसका मेरे द्वारा 25000 करोड रुपए के अविरल निर्मल गंगा के लिए नमामि गंगे प्रोजेक्ट में कार्य किया जा रहा है जिसका 80 प्रतिशत कार्य मेरे कार्यकाल में पूरा हुआ।
उन्होंने बताया कि जब-जब उत्तराखंड में पार्टी अध्यक्ष के रूप में आता था सब यही कहते थे कि हमारे रोड सुधर जाएंगे तो उत्तराखंड का विकास होगा। अमेरिका प्रेसिडेंट जॉन कैनेडी ने कहा था अमेरिका अमीर है इस कारण सड़के अच्छी नहीं है बल्कि यहां की सड़के अच्छी है जिसकी वजह से देश अमीर है। जब मुझे पीएम मोदी के नेतृत्व में रोड एवं परिवहन मंत्रालय मिला तो मैंने तय किया था कि उत्तराखंड को मैं दो लाख करोड़ रुपए दूंगा अभी तक आपने जो विकास देखा है वह एक ट्रेलर था फिल्म अभी शुरू होनी बाकी है। मै इतना ही कहना चाहूंगा कि 2014 से 2021 तक हमने 21 सौ किलोमीटर की नई सड़क बनाई है और उसका मजबूती करण का काम किया है। उन्होंने बताया कि 2022 में 123 किलोमीटर सड़क उन्न्यन का काम अवॉर्ड हो जाएगा और करीब 1353 किलोमीटर सड़क में कर्ण का कार्य होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि 2024 तक 2500 किलोमीटर का काम पूरा करके दो लाख करोड़ का काम पूरा करेंगे। खटीमा आने वाले समय में पर्यटन की दृष्टि से महत्वपूर्ण है, यह क्षेत्र आने वाले समय में विश्व मानचित्र पर होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि कैलाश मानसरोवर यात्रा जाने वाले इसी रास्ते से जाते हैं और मैं आपको विश्वास देता हूं आज से 1 साल के अंदर कैलाश मानसरोवर यात्रा पर आप सब रोड से जा सकोगे, रोड मैं आपको बना कर दूंगा। उन्होंने कहा कि टनकपुर से पिथौरागढ़ तक कनेक्टिविटी हो गई है, पिथौरागढ़ से लिपुलेख तक सड़क निर्माण का कार्य अभी चल रहा है, टनकपुर से लिपुलेख एक सड़क निर्माण कार्य हो रहा है यह 376 का किलोमीटर है और इस पर 5000 करोड़ रूपया खर्च कर रहे हैं, यहां से सीधा मानसरोवर जा सकेंगे। टनकपुर से पिथौरागढ़ 162 किलोमीटर 1640 करोड़ रुपए खर्च करके 125 किलोमीटर का काम हो गया है और बाकी काम 2022 तक पूरा हो जाएगा पिथौरागढ़ से लिपुलेख 204 किलोमीटर तक 31 सौ करोड़ रूपये खर्च कर रहे हैं, यह काम बीआरओ द्वारा कराया जा रहा है और यह काम 1 साल में पूरा हो जाएगा।
सिमली-मुन्स्यारी-जौलजीबी-ग्वालदम तक सड़क चैड़ीकरण करने की घोषणा की और कहा कि इस परियोजना को भारतमाला परियोेजना मे शामिल कर लिया गया है जिस पर 6 हजार करोड़ रूपये खर्च कर रहे है। खटीमा रिंगरोड निर्माण हेतु चकरपुर-कालापुर होते हुए टेढ़ाघाट वाया पहेनिया बाईपास का निर्माण भारतमाला परियोजना मे लिया जायेगा। खटीमा से पूरनपुर मार्ग को एनएच किया जायेगा, खटीमा चैराहे से थारू विकास भवन तक एनओसी क्लीयर कर दी जायेगी। पीलीभीत मार्ग से टनकपुर मार्ग मे बाहर बाईपास भी बनाया जायेगा। नजीमाबाद से अफजलगढ तक ग्रीनफील्ड न्यू बाईपास का बनाया जायेगा, हल्द्वानी से काठगोदाम और लालकुआं तक बायपास बनाने, हल्द्वानी-ग्वालदम सड़क निर्माण की घोषणा की।
दिल्ली से मेरठ में एक्सप्रेस हाईवे बन गया है 8 को अनेक बार इस अवसर ईसाइयों पर आने का मौका मिला पहले 4 घंटे लगते थे अब 40 मिनट में लोग दिल्ली आते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि रोड कनेक्टिविटी से दिल्ली नजदीक आ गई हैं, 603 करोड़ की लागत से 35 किलोमीटर अस्कोट-लिपुलेख सड़क निर्माण का कार्य प्रारम्भ हो चुका है। रामेश्वर से अल्मोड़ा तक 2 लेन का डीपीआर तैयार हो गया है जिसका आगामी 6 माह मे कार्य प्रारम्भ कर दिया जायेगा। हल्द्वानी से कर्णप्रयाग तक 250 किलोमीटर सड़क आॅलवेदर बनाई जा रही है। उन्होने कहा कि आज से 2 साल बाद देहरादून से दिल्ली का सफर कोई भी फ्लाईट से जाना पंसद नही करेंगे। आने वाले समय मे गाड़ियों की स्पीड बढ़ाने का भी कार्य किया जा रहा है। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने सड़क निर्माण क्षेत्र में किये जा रहे कार्यों एवं प्रस्तावित कार्यों के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी।
गडकरी ने मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की तारीफ करते हुए कहा कि युवा मुख्यमंत्री दिखने में ही नही काम में भी स्मार्ट हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि सड़कों के निर्माण से राज्य पर्यटन के क्षेत्र में अपनी विशिष्ट पहचान को और अधिक मजबूत कर सकेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि पर्यटन के क्षेत्र में भी रोजगार के नए-नए अवसर उपलब्ध होंगे।
केन्द्रीय सड़क एवं परिवहन मंत्री नितिन गडकारी तथा मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शहीद स्मारक पहुॅचकर शहीदों को पुष्पचक्र एवं पुष्पांजलि अर्पित की तथा शहीदों के परिवारों से वार्ता की।
इस दौरान सभा को संबोधित करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने केंद्रीय मंत्री नितिन गडकरी को रोड कनेक्टिविटी के क्षेत्र में क्रांति लाने वाला व्यक्ति बताया। उन्होने कहा आपके मंत्री के रूप में काम करने से सड़कों के क्षेत्र में जो विकास हुआ है वह किसी से छुपा नही है। उन्होंने कहा आज देश में रोड कनेक्टिविटी की परिभाषा को गडकरी जी ने एक नया आयाम दिया है।उन्होंने कहा सडकों और इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर को विकसित करने की महाराष्ट्र से शुरू हुई आपकी यात्रा आज भी निरंतर जारी है और देश का हर राज्य आपकी बनाई योजनाओं से लाभान्वित हो रहा है। उन्होंने कहा आदरणीय नितिन गडकरी जी विजन के साथ काम करने वाले जननेता हैं और देश में सड़क, एक्सप्रेसवे और फ्लाईओवर निर्माण का जितना कार्य आपके निर्देशन में हुआ है उतना पहले कभी नहीं हुआ।उन्होंने कब गड़करी एक व्यापक सोच के साथ देश के आधारभूत ढांचे को विकसित करने का कार्य कर रहे है।मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने सरकार द्वारा किये जा रहे कार्यों के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी। कार्यक्रम में सहकारिता विभाग द्वारा 166 स्वयं सहायता समूहों को 213.50 लाख रूपये के चैक वितरित किये गये।
इस दौरान केन्द्रीय रक्षा एवं पर्यटन राज्य मंत्री अजय भट्ट, भाजपा प्रदेश अध्यक्ष मदन कौशिक ने भी अपने-अपने विचार रखे।
