मुख्यमंत्री से मिले सेन्ट्रल कमांड के जी.ओ.सी इंचार्ज,सीमान्त क्षेत्रों के विकास पर किया विचार-विमर्श।

मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह से गुरूवार को सचिवालय में सेन्ट्रल कमांड के जी.ओ, सी इंचार्ज लेफ्टि. जनरल वाई डिमरी ए.वी.एस.एम, वी.एस.एम ने शिष्टाचार भेंट की। उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री से राज्य के सीमान्त क्षेत्रों में संचार सुविधाओं की उपलब्धता एवं सडकों के विकास से सम्बन्धित विभिन्न विषयों पर चर्चा की। मुख्यमंत्री से हुई भेंट के दौरान सेन्ट्रल कमांड के जीओसी ने मुख्यमंत्री से सीमान्त क्षेत्रों में लोकल इन्टेलीजेंस की मजबूती पर भी ध्यान दिये जाने, जोशीमठ-ओली तक सडक चौडीकरण, बडकोट-पुरोला-मोरी से तथा मीनस-अराल-त्यूणी से हिमाचल को जोड़ने वाली सड़क के निर्माण एवं सुधारीकरण की भी जरूरत बतायी।

मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार सीमान्त क्षेत्रों के विकास पर विशेष ध्यान दे रही है। इन क्षेत्रों को सडक से जोडने तथा संचार सुविधाओं के विकास पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि लिपुलेख, गुंजी, नीती मलारी के अग्रिम क्षेत्रों तक संचार सुविधाओं के विकास के सम्बन्ध में उनके द्वारा हाल ही में केन्द्रीय सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी एवं संचार मंत्री श्री रविशंकर प्रसाद से भेंट कर राज्य के सीमान्त क्षेत्रों में वी सेट की स्थापना आदि के सम्बन्ध में विचार विमर्श किया गया। केन्द्रीय मंत्री द्वारा इन क्षेत्रों में संचार सुविधाओं के विकास हेतु शीघ्र कार्यवाही का आश्वासन दिया गया है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य के सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में सड़कों के सुदृढ़ीकरण आदि के लिये भी उनके द्वारा केन्द्रीय सड़क परिवहन मंत्री श्री नितिन गडकरी के साथ ही रक्षा मंत्री श्री राजनाथ सिंह से भी वार्ता हुई है। उन्होंने कहा कि जोशीमठ-औली क्षेत्र में सड़कों के निर्माण चौडीकरण आदि के लिये भी डीपीआर तैयार करने के निर्देश केन्द्रीय सडक परिवहन मंत्री ने दिये हैं। उनके द्वारा सीमान्त क्षेत्रों में सड़कों के विकास का भी आश्वासन दिया गया है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड से हिमाचल को जोड़ने वाली सड़कों के निर्माण एवं सुधारीकरण के प्रस्ताव को भी केन्द्रीय सड़क परिवहन मंत्री के समक्ष रखा जायेगा।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि कोरोना महामारी से बचाव में सेना द्वारा राज्य को पूरा सहयोग दिया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि रक्षा मंत्री श्री राजनाथ सिंह की पहल पर राज्य में डीआरडीओ द्वारा ऋषिकेश व हल्द्वानी में 500-500 बेड के अस्पताल प्राथमिकता के आधार पर स्थापित किये गये हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने सेन्ट्रल कमांड के लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल का आपदा के समय सेना द्वारा राहत कार्यों में सहयोग के लिये भी आभार जताया।
